A Two-Day Skill-Building Workshop for ALL Military Families

The Project Connect program is built to assist families in staying resilient in the face of the unique challenges associated with growing up “military.” The program targets mind and body skills that enhance communication, emotional understanding, and teamwork.

Project Connect embraces the strengths of each family and the contributions of individual family members. Activities and games are designed to give everyone an active role and encourage teamwork. At the end of the day, the goal is that every family has acquired the tools to deal with stressful situations in healthy ways.

Project Connect addresses the five puzzle pieces that connect to form the foundation of strong and healthy families:

  • Feelings

  • Thoughts

  • Communication

  • Problem-Solving

  • Resilience

Project Connect is provided at no charge. The program is offered throughout the year and can be adapted to many locations. It is appropriate for ages 5+ and all members of the family (child care is provided to younger children as needed).

Project Connect is the biggest bang for our buck and has the greatest impact out of all the programming we have offered in the last twelve years!
